(Custom).JPG[/attachment]Could you please tell me what kind of hinge this is and where can I get a new one from? I know it's called T-latch (or something like that) but I don't know the exact type/maker and I need 2 of them if anyone has a website I can order from, I'm in the Swansea are fyi.

Qestion:-
Is it safe for me to fully remove the broken hinge (at top of door) to check all the bits on the inside against the replacement hinge on the website?

or would it be OK for me to swap the middle hinge for the top hinge (I know I'd have to support the door somehow) as a temporary measure?

Seeing as you have 2 broken hinges you will have to support the door close to the hinge side, support the outer edge and have a helper keep the door in an upright position.
Do not try this on your own!

Thanks Stoneboy, but the hinges are both in the same place (L/H Top) on two different sets of doors. One is on my condervatory, the other is on my French Doors- aren't I unlucky!).
So I am talking about swapping the middle hinge on both doors for the top hinge on the same door (one swapped on French Doors - middle for top, and the same for the conservatory doors -middle for top).
I am hoping this will solve my problem of the door dragging on both sets!
Is this a possible (temporary) answer until I can find matching hinges to then change for the broken ones? and would it allow me to open both doors at the same time as I have to lift them at the moment to close the door with the broken hinge.

I forgot to tell you the bit that's broken on both is the lips that stop the long Allen bolt from coming out of the fitting, not sure how the chap who came out to adjust both doors but they are snapped or straightened to the degree that they don't allow that adjustment from being made, they can be screwed only in towards the hinge itself?

Sorry stoneyboy, I see what you mean now.
I would have to take two hinges off anyway, the only way I can get away with taking one hinge off only would be by replacement.
Apologies for my misunderstanding, I'm going to pull the top one off and am going to check where the pin holes are drilled and see then if one of the hinges you suggested would fit.
I may be looking at replacing 12 hinges on both sets of doors if I can't get a duplicate!

Yes I agree OUCH!
Could say it a lot harder seeing that EVEREST did the whole job in 2015 and I had a 10 year guarantee with them which is now USELESS seeing as they went under in 2020, but suddenly re-opened a week or so later as EVEREST 2020!
I already had these jobs including two others outstanding with them (they fitted SILVER handles to both sets of doors, with GOLD trim (hinges) and they were due to sort the lot (according to them) in 2020, but after the change of name said the claim was no longer valid as EVEREST does not exist anymore (hands washed there).

I have contacted the insurance people - no reply at first, but after months of chasing them up including sending copies of all documentation I only got the claim form last week.
To make matters worse, during the extreme hot weather a couple of weeks ago, one of the glass roof panels of the conservatory exploded, gratefully it was only the outer glass that broke so we are still dry inside.
