Brass Fire surround

by MKMal » Thu Nov 13, 2008 10:18 am

Hi, I have a marble fireplace that has a brass surround on the front edge into the fire area. It also has a brass plate strip going across where the marble meets the concrete inside the chimney area. This brass is very old and damaged and I would like to replace it.

Can this be done? If so, how do I get the old one off and what do I fix the replacement ones back with?
