Our neighbours single storey (single brick) garage is part of our joint boundary.

He wishes to increase the size of his garage extending it along the boundary as well as upwards.

Can anyone advise whether he can do this without affecting our garden, or will he had to dig into our garden to lay the additional foundations needed to extend along the boundary?

Can anyone see any problems with this?

Many thanks.

Have objected. Turned down by Council. Now going before Welsh Assembly - which I think (going on people around about) will be approved. If so, just want to know what I can expect as to whether he will want access to my garden - i.e. in laying new foundations along the boundary, and anything I should watch out for. Thanks again in advance.
