Would like to keep my log burning fire where it is but am extending property which would mean the chimney which is all brick would come up through centre of house i dont want this , how would i redirect it as it would have to go between under bedroom floor to outside wall then into a new built stack.
Would i use the stainless sealed piping or is it even possible or allowed?
Just looking to get my head around what could be done.
Thankyou if anyone can help

you can redirect it using brickwork. You can use a technique called corbelling, but this depends on a number of factors,I suggest calling in a builder to have a look

You need permission to alter a working chimney.
Alterations need to be done by someone who understands chimneys.
Speak to the Council before doing anything.
