york stone

i have a york stone slab work at back of garden when wet you can see all the colors in it but when this is dry it is all grey looking.i have tryed putting acid on to clean it witch has done the job of cleaning but the stone is still grey when dry.is there anything that i can put on it to make it show the colors all the time.have tryed brick seal but no good.still drys grey.

you can try a pva solution which will seal the stone.

need something that is going to bring the colours out .like in wood when putting a varnish on the wood stands out more.we have reds browns greens grays yellow all these colours are in the stonework when wet. but all the stone is a dull grey when dry.

you can try resiseal indian stone sealant product "google "www.resifloor.co.uk
