Hi,

Looking for help.

I'm to board my Kitchen ceiling. I'm to use 9.5mm 1200x2400 sheets and I understand that i have to stagger the sheets and fix 90 degrees to the joists.

THe kitchen has been drylined.

Do I butt the boards/sheets up to the wall linings? I had thought that you were supposed to cut the top of the wall finish and rest the ceiling boards in/upon but as it's dry lined, I'm not sure what you're supposed to do.

If you was starting from scratch, you would board ceiling first then board walls.
But no need to cut in to wall boards you can fit ceiling boards flush up to wall, providing there is a joist that you can fix board to.

I'd only add to what KB says that I'd recommend you use 1800 x 900. Much easier to handle if you aren't used to it.
