Hi just a bit of advice really. On skimming over artex on internal walls would you just use a corner trowel for corners and areas around windows/doors etc or would you use angle bead?

Many thanks

Personally I'd use neither - I'd get a proper spread in to do it but thats because I'm carp at plastering anything but small areas. 15 years I've been trying to master the skills but it completely escapes me so I gave up.

Sorry if that isn't much help to you.

Cheers

angle bead, definitely. you can just use thincoat bead if you don't want to build the walls up too much with an undercoat.

you may find it difficult to fix the thincoat if you have solid walls - masonry nails will tend to break out the side. in this case i'd normally fix them with drywall adhesive.
