Replastering 1 meter up wall after Damp Course

I've removed render and skim coat aprox 1 meter up the wall where damp is coming through wall. External bridge of damp course removed, additional Damp Course injection done, inside re-rendered with sand and cement. What's left is the skim coat.

My question is whether i must skim right up the wall or if i can blend the skim coat into the wall above the newly rendered area. Cheers

Depends on how good you are at skimming lol
If the wall is going to be painted afterwards then chances are you will see a slight join. If its your own house then I would skim the whole wall.
