I have just had my walls skimed, & the plaster is going off nicely. My other half wants to start decorating NOW, but i have told her it needs to dry properly. How long should we leave it before sealing , & after sealing when can i start papering :?: Thank you [/b]

You will see the plaster drying out, in the summer it will only take a few days, leave the window open slightly to let the moisture out.

If the walls have been patched first before being skimmed then the patches may take another few days to dry.

Make sure its fully dry before doing anything.

You can paper the walls a few hours after sealing them depending on what you seal it with.

As above allow to dry completly and naturally as multi finish has dryers in it. It will crack otherwise. Once dry Prime with 70%water to emulsion or use BNQ own brand cheap stuff with a little water. Allow to dry then then size the wall ready for paper. Reason for painting is its easier to strip in future.
