hello all and one…

Ive been asked to plaster over some old painted brickwork. Should I plasterboard with the usual dot and dab method or is there a better solution?
maybe, PVA and skim rather then bothering to board over??

ta very much :D

hi

dont skim over brickwork lol. if the wall is straight top the wall with 3-5 mm of bonding. put a small handfull of pink in with the bonding mix , this will stiffen up your rough coat and take the skim nice. pva the wall and knock loose crap and paint off first> use a needle gun if you have too.
