Wet and Damaged Plaster in Bathroom After Removing Tiles in Shower Cubicle
Posted: Wed Aug 30, 2017 9:10 pm
Hello.
I have removed tiles from our shower cubical and the plaster is wet and soft when you touch it.
It's a very small area of around 20cm by 20cm at the bottom of the shower. The rest of the plaster appears fine.
I have let the plaster dry out for a week but it's crumbling and soft to touch.
I can't really afford to have the whole wall re plastered. Is there a way to fix it so I can re-tile, please.
Really reply grateful for construction tube (no pun intended) advice
Regards
Dafydd
