Leaky Boiler but Should I Claim for Damaged Plastering on Insurance?

Hello,
I would appreciate your help. My boiler has leaked from the loft and has damaged some of the plastering and wallpaper.
I know it’s not easy to determine from just a photo but: would it save me money in the long run to pay someone to fix the damage now or is it better to claim on building insurance, knowing that I will pay the price in terms of higher premiums in the future.
The boiler is switched off and a plumber is coming to look at it.
Thank you so much for considering this problem and for your time.
