Does this ceiling look like it contains asbestos?

Hi, I had a leak in the kitchen ceiling. When I told my parents about it they decided to rip part of it off. I am worried in case this ceiling contains asbestos. Can I still go in there to make food and drink?

Looks like wood-chip paper on a plastered ceiling. If you are concerned, carefully scrape off a bit into a sealable plastic bag and send it to one of the testing labs to see if it contains any asbestos.
