Hi

Got a patch of bedroom wall thats very damp and have tried a few things to stop it, but keeps coming back.

I've heard dry lining is the way to go - any advice on how i go about this?

After it's replastered i want to paint over it if that makes a difference

Hi crabbejo,
I'd first try to solve the damp problem, sure you can dot and dad over it or put up a stud wall, but you have a problem spot with damp and in time it will penetrate through.
Sorry not over helpfull but damp walls never good to leave or hide!
