plastering help please

by hilly » Wed Jan 02, 2008 11:07 am

I,m new to plastering and have done ceilings and some walls in my house so far but I keep on getting what looks like air bubbles in the plaster when I put a coat on and they dont seem to be easy to trowl out.
I'm using a drill mixer and I think the mix is just right.
Any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong?
Many thanks,
Mark.

hi hilly,
sometimes if the wall has not been primed with pva correctly you will get this effect because the wall will take moisture from the mix, also if you have used a bad bag this can happen too.

Many thanks kbrownie.
