I thought that I would have a go at plastering my living room.

So far I am reasonably happy with what I have done but in places it is slightly patchy.

Is there any tips on how to avoid this and also how should I conceal them?

Should I just use some filler and sand off?

Because its your job, you are very conscience of its imperfections.
But, how many ceilings do you study quite carefully?
How perfect are they? There are lots that are dreadful.
If you are not happy? Why not just skim it again?

as a sugestion if not to late ,give it a mistcoat then see what shows up you can then use filler on the patches .if however it is to bad to fill pva it then reskim it .
