As the title says I am a 40yo guy from Sevenoaks, Kent.. I am a skilled Timber Floor Fitter and work on a self-employed basis. I now have to look for other work due to bad knee(kneeling). I have some plastering experience and have worked as a Plasterers laborer for several weeks to help out. I have taken a 5 day plastering course and would take the 8 week city and Guilds but having 3 kids and a wife to support I cant afford 8 weeks out of work. I dont mind hard graft as this is all I have ever done but with the main goal of learning the trade. Yes I know its a lifelong learning curve but we all need to start somewhere even at 40 years of age.
