Marc,

What kind of hot water system do you have.

Conventional, combi, unvented.

hi rico
its a bog standard system... back boiler, hot water tank in the airing cupboard with a cold feed tank on top of it. i know i need a supply tank in the loft for the shower but i cant get a standard size tank up there. i was wandering if a pressure relief valve would do the trick if i connect the mains up to the pump, and turn the pressure down.
many thanks

Marc,

What exactly is the problem with the cold. I'm assuming it is overpowering the hot.

Maybe the easiest way to sort would to check the pressure of your cold mains supply and get a matching pump for the hot.
