shower pump

i have a water tank in my loft. and a hot water cylinder. my shower is not electric. can a pump be put onto the shower or not?

i thot, their must be a cold feed and hot feed so how does the pump work or pipe does it go on. cheers

Simple answer - Yes.

Separate cold feed to the cold side of pump.

Separate hot feed from the HW cylinder using Ess ex, Surrey or Yorkshire flange to hot side of pump.

Pump can be fitted at base of HW cylinder.

More detailed data can be provided if you give more information about your system but I suspect you should get someone in to look at it for you.

you would need to pump both hot and cold and so the pump would have to go somewhere where both feeds are together.
