Hello,

My toilet decided that it would stop flushing tonight.. typical..

The valve wont let the cistern fill even if I play with the float, and the valve is dripping too.

Probably the valve is split or something, I'm a practical gal but never played with toilets before!! Could someone give me some advice on fixing it please :-)

It could be broken, it is possible that some debris has clogged the valve assembly. It can be dismantled to ascertain the problem. Chances are it can be fixed by cleaning.
