Hi,

We are looking to buy a new mixer shower and enclosure. We are having an Baxi Duotech combi boiler fitted and have identified 2 showers that we like the look of:

1) Mira Discovery (Concentric ev)
2) Mira Excel (ev Thermostatic)

It looks like the Discovery is cheaper but it looks like the specs are similar? Anybody able to offer any advice on which is best and what the differences would be?

The enclosure we are looking at is the Aqualux Pura Pivot Door + Side panel (900 x 900) - anybody know if this is any good?

Thanks

Chris

I have fitted quite a number of both these showers. Mira are in my opinion an excellent brand of shower. The Excel is an older model (still current) and will guarantee you a superb shower. You get a good lump of metal for your money which you would expect for that price.

The Discovery is one model in a new range of showers which I believe are designed to compete at the cheaper end of the market. A budget model probably, but not as you would notice. The quality is spot on.

Choose either of these showers, you will not be disappointed.
