Hi, I am wanting to fit a new radiator in my bathhroom and have a Magaflow heating system. I am unsure how to go about cutting off the water / draining the system etc for fitting the new rad. Can anyone help, even if its to tell me to get a plumber!!

Thanks...

you sholdnt need to drain down to replace a radiator.

turn off both valves either side of the raidator. check out theproject section for full instructions.

except that if "fit new radator" means there isn't one there already rather than replace existing then he will have to drain down.

Alternatively Nitro could be correct as regards replacement on the assumption that the dimensions of the new are exactly the same as the old and no pipework changes are required.

Bit more data please Danc.

Oh and BTW your Megaflo Clinder is for the DHW not the heating.

Cheers

I am replacing existing, not installing new. have sourced a new rad with same dimensions so should be straightforward, famous last words!

I am ignorant about CH and Megaflows etc as I am in a new house and previously had a flat with tank and immersion - the simple life. Thanks for the help and advice.
