Help needed

One of the two 22mm pipes from the single feed cylinder under the floor developed a leak, so i drained down the pipe from from the drain off tap by the exchanger unit cut out and fitted a new section of pipe.
Now how do i refill the heat exchanger? I have read elswhere that the system has to have an air bubble?

Things have moved on a little, after some research i have found the problem to be the indirect cylinder.
I have to drain down the cylinder and refill for the cylinder to create it's own air bubble, looking for the drain off tap, and opening it no water runs out but the tank is full any ideas?

Insert a scredriver into the drain off, the rubber washer may be stuck or debri's may be blocking the drain off - be prepared to have to replace washer if it's damaged.

I did expect a surge of water when undoing the drain off screw and when nothing happened was unsure weather to stick a driver up inside and see what happens.
I shall now do just as you say and hope i can control the water flow, these old style Primatic cylinders with their in built air bubble system are new to me.
