I am installing a new bathroom with a fixed shower head incorporating a hand held shower, a new floor standing bath filler with shower attachment and a new wall mounted baisin faucet. My question is this.....

Is it best to supply all units with 22mm pipe and tee off in 15mm where required or use 15mm and tee in 22mm where required?

I want to maintain pressure throughout as the hot supply passes through a combi and the cold is mains fed?

22mm is normally used with a gravity system to get max flow rate from low pressure. In this case 22 mm then tee off in 15 as required.

If you have a combi everything is on mains pressure anyway so 15mm will probably be OK.

You said faucet, are you in UK or over the pond?

From a combi - you want 15mm pipe all the way no 22mm pipe - 22mm was for tank fed hot water.

Get rid of all 22mm
