I need to replace my electric triton shower.

I am happy with how to do the plumbing and electrics and will be getting a mira one = the existing installation is only probs 3 years old and so itl only be swapping the unit.

How can I tell what kW my existing triton is? and how can I tell how do I measure my wiring to know what the existing circuit can take? ie diamaeter

There is a little printed label on the underside of the shower casing next to the shower hose outlet that states the wattage (viewable without removing the cover).

Sometimes the cable size is embossed in the grey sleeving along the length of the cable. Normally is sized by visual inspection or comparison. 10mm is so much larger than 6mm.

With the power off, if you open the shower up the rating will often be on a sticker on the inside of the shower somewhere. Look on the copper bit that heats the water.

As to the cable size, you might be lucky. Sometimes its written on the outside.
