Moving toilet waste soil pipe- how?

Hi,
I have bought a wall hung toilet which where the trap from the toilet will exit at a higher level to the previous one. I need the pipe to be higher than it currently is but there is vertually no room for play as the current pipe is connect straight to the branch with no pipe visible, it looks like its joined with compound, any ideas what to do anyone??!!
