how do i find out the corect size of immersion heater for my tank it is a direct one and at the moment has a aprox 12 inch one fitted this only gives about a half full bath hope someone can help

hi terry,most cylinders usually have a sticker on them with the maximum immersion length and also the size of the cylinder and its capacity. if yours hasnt then all u have to do is measure the height and width take the measusurements to your local plumbers merchant and they will sort you out.
