The waste from my kitchen sink has started to back up the U Bend and into my washing machine. I have removed and cleaned the U Bend and tried my best to flush anything from the down pipe but on reassembling( but not attaching the washing machine) the water is still pouring from the connection for the machine. Please HELP!!!!!!!!

Check the fall on the pipework, has a clip came away and pipe dropped ? and check for blockages - simple as that really.
