Boiler showing 0 bar - no heating but hot water All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Dear all

Could someone please advise on the following problem I have:

Turned heating on tonight but the radiators were not heating up.
Looked at boiler - realised it was showing 0 bar.

Checked taps - hot water was still working

The boiler I have is British Gas Combi Boiler.

Is it still safe to have a shower? Any advice appreciated - I don't fancy calling a plumber on bank holiday monday

Sounds as though you have a leak somewhere on the system.....not a good idea to use this boiler until it's sorted out.
