Installing a new Radiator

Hello all.

We have had some building work done in two rooms of our flat. Both radiators were removed (one from each room) and are to be re-positioned on the other wide of the room, under the window.

My question is this: Rather than wait for a plumber, I'm considering pulling up floorbards and running some pipes in myself. Fitting the radiator should be relatively easy however, I'm considering using plastic piping as this seems a much simpler and more versatile way of plumbing.

Is this a safe and effective means of piping for a central heating system? The pipes themselves are easy to fit, even for a novice.

Hi Fraser,

Yes you can use plastic, but, any visible pipe in copper IMO.
Are you sure you are able - you need inserts for the plastic for example?
