Cutting Porcelain Toilet

Hi, just having a bathroom fitted. I can't fit my toilet in properly. The toilet waste pipe comes from the floor. Where the toilet needs to be so that the back part is flush to the wall, there is bridge of porcelain going all the way around, which is in the way of the waste pipe.

Basically I need to cut a small part of the part of the toilet; whats the best way to cut it without cracking it completely?

As far as I know, there is no way. Don't go there. The toilet may become weak and unsafe and consequently dangerous to use.

The glaze protection will also be damaged and the protection lost.

Re plumb the toilet away from the wall. I know it is not the best looking, but that's how it goes in this situation.

you really do not want to cut your toilet. i'd suggest a swan neck connector or a flexi pan connector instead.

i would not even consider cutting the toilet as an option.

can you not pack it out from the wall with some studwork or boxing or something so that the waste fits correctly?
