Cracked plastic bath - help!

by Lynsey » Sat May 12, 2007 9:30 pm

Hi all,
Just had a new free standing plastic bath fitted & it has a crack in it - devastated. I'm wondering is there something that we can put into the crack (its a v. thin crack) which will not be too unsightly & will withstand the heat of the hot water? I've seen a repair kit for an ACRYLIC bath, will this work on plastic? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Lynsey

Go to our bathroom instalation project via

www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects.htm

and contact the sponsors in there, they may have a solution for you. If you find one, can you feed it back to the forum please.
