Hi guys, got called out to a lady who just got a new en-suite bathroom fitted. since then she has not had very little pressure to the bathroom taps.

there is a combined hot water tank/header tank that is on the same floor as the bathroom with the hot feed coming from the bottom of the tank.

she said that there was pressure coming to the taps before, the only thing is the basin has a high rise monobloc tap on now.

There is no way of raising the tank/header tank

Anybody know if this would affect it, or know how to solve it. was thinking about single impeller pump, but this would probally drain the tank to quick!!

There is a good chance the taps fitted are high pressure models, so won't work well (or at all) with low pressure. Probably connected with small bore flexi pipes too.

I assume the cold is fine (mains fed)?

Fitting a pump will not drain quick unless the tap is opened fully which is unlikely as water would be splashed everywhere.

The new taps are prolly high pressure taps when it needs low pressure taps (tank fed). Replace tap voila

i too would replace taps as the sound like they are for high pressure system
if they are connected by small bore flexis change the pipework to copper and get as much volume of water flowing to the taps
