noisy hot water (from immersion)

by adele » Thu Nov 20, 2008 7:09 pm

When I draw hot water from the immersion, there is a very loud continuous noise (a lot like a ship's foghorn). This can go on for several seconds, then stops. I do not have this problem with cold water. Can anybody help? Many thanks

Faulty ball cock in the header tank? You haven't given much info to help diagnosis.
