Hi, is there any way I can boost the whole hot water feed. My pressure isn't great at the moment and I want to install a new shower. My cold water runs off the mains, but is there a pump I could use on the hot water only?

The normal shower pump have both hot and cold inlet/outlet. Could I possibly use one of these without using the other?

Many Thanks

Dougie

Salamander do a range of single pumps.

Don't just use one side of a twin pump. It wont last long!

If you fit a booster pump you must have a water meter.

You can't fit a mixer shower by using mains water for the cold and water from a cylinder and header tank for the hot. Both feeds must be at equal pressure. If you don't have a combi, then the hot will come from the cylinder and the cold should come from the header tank and then fit a twin impeller pump.

Download any mixer shower installation instructions for further advice.
