Replacing lever operated WC syphon with push-button

Hi

I was thinking of trying to replace a lever operated syphon with a push button syphon. Aged user is finding the lever difficult to operate.

Is it possible to do this using the hole for the lever to fit the button? I don't know if the holes would be the same size - are they standard sizes?

Hi Nick,

Not that I know of!

You need to replace at least the cistern with one with a single hole on top of the lid.

Its also worth noting that the push buttons arent always easier to use for some people. For example my four year old struggles with a push button but can operate a lever style unit fine.

nickclooney,
Here is the product you are looking for if you Google multikwik.com and search their site for multiflush.
I've fitted these and they work well, dual flush, plunger operation, fit in existing lever hole.

Thanks all

I had been looking at the multikwik syphon - I'll give it a go.

Cheers
