Hi peeps.

There are two cubicles with toilets. The wall shall be knocked down and I have to remove one of the toilets to place a bath. Both toilets have waste in the floor.

I was thinking of digging down and using a 1 & 1/2" reducer. I would bring the pipe up and place the reducer flush with the floor. The 1 & 1/2" would then be used as the waste for the new bath.

Can I do this without venting the removed toilets waste with a durgo?

It is difficult to be sure without seeing the installation, but if the existing toilets do not have a vent or dirgo, then the alteration will not require one either. Generally each property requires only one vent which is positioned at the head of a drainage run, the furthest from the main public sewer.
