Hi can anyone out there help
Toilet wont flush so am attempting to replace flush diaphragm as per instructions on the help page.
Have disconnected handle arm and flush unit but it says next to "release back nut under cistern and pull flush unit clear"
Where is the nut I have to release?

hello dame in distress, you will have to remove the cistern from the toilet pan to see the back nut to the siphon underneath but remember to isolate loo first then empty the cistern.

You have to remove the cistern from the pan to get at it.
Flush the loo having first shut the service valve.
Disconnect the tap connector from the filling mechanism. Don't lose the fibre washer!
Drain all the remaining water out of the cistern.
Remove cistern from pan. There is a large "washer" (called a donut) between the cistern and the pan which will either be left on the pan or come off with the cistern.
Lay it on its back. If the donut has stayed on the cistern take it off and you will then expose the backnut. It needs a large ring spanner to remove it.
As you untighten it the flush unit will become loose and once you have removed the backnut then the flush unit can be taken out.
Refit in reverse order. Fit a NEW donut though.
