Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to fit a strap on boss to a soil pipe and how does the 32mm waste pipe connect into it? do I have to use a solvent weld or can you get a push fit connection?

First, you cut a (usually) 57mm diameter hole in the stack and glue the strap on securely.

Then a rubber boss pushes in allowing the waste pipe to connect to the strap.

(There are different manufacturers of pipe and the bosses are different so make sure you use the same supplier.)
