Hi, I need to remove my old kitchen sink to put in a new one. I am aware that the old one is sealed in and need to know what to use to remove the sealant without cause too much damage to the work surface. Also what is the best sealant to use for the new one? Thanks.

tiggerbounce80,
Once you have undone all the securing clips use a sharp scraper and stanley knife - work the two round the old sink together.

Its probably plumber's putty. It just scrapes off. Use the same for the new one.
