Leaky toilet

Hi I have had a new bathroom suite fitted, all was good for the first few days with the toilet until I put laminate boards down (I asked the fitter to leave it loose and let me fix it once the floor was in). This needed the toilet moving and now I have had it out and in 5 times and it still leaks. As all the kit was new it is not an old o ring seal or rusted fittings. The last time I had it out I put silicone all over everything at the bottom of the cistern, top of the close coupled pan thing it sits into and left it 24 hours but tonight it still leaks. Could it be the seal inside the cistern tank bit as I am at a complete loss now and am sick of flushing the toilet with buckets of water! :(

shouldn't need silicone on a new toilet. Try to take cistern off toilet pan, and check foam seal or 'o' ring. tighten down and try to keep the cistern as level as possible. Might have trouble taking toilet and cistern apart because of the silicone
