HI.
I RECENTLY CHANGED A TAP FOR A FRIEND IN A KITCHEN, IT WAS A SET OF MIXER CERAMIC TAPS .I HAD TO TURN OFF THE MAINS FROM OUTSIDE AND SOON FOUND OUT THAT THE THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE HOT TAP. I HAD TO TURN OFF THE WARM SUPPLY,SO I CLOSED OFF TWO GATE VALVES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STORAGE TANK IN THE ATTIC AND TWO MORE BENEATH THE COPPER CYLINDER.IT DID NOT TAKE LONG TO RUN OFF THE WATER,I CHANGED THE FITTINGS AND TURNED ON THE VALVES AGAIN AND THE HOT TAP WAS WORKING FINE.THAT WAS 5 WEEKS AGO AND THEIR PROBLEM NOW IS THAT THE PRESSURE ON HOT TAPS IS VERY LOW, SAME WITH THE SHOWER.WOULD APPRECAITE ANY HELP.
REGARDS PAUL
