Fitting of an overflow filler

by yrrab » Mon Nov 23, 2009 10:37 pm

I have just bought a Samuel Heath Xenon overflow filler for my bath, along with two valves. The filler has only one inlet on it. I was expecting two. One for the cold and one for the hot. Do I need some kind of mixer valve that mixes the water before it is connected to the filler?

0121 772 2303 and talk to Technical Support. Simples.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice Rosebery. I rang Samuel Heath Technical Support but I could only speak to a woman in sales. She thought one half inch feed to a bath was ok. Anyway, I went ahead and fitted the bath and the flow rate seems to be ok. I did include check valves. It's difficult to say whether they restricted the flow rate or not. Thanks once again. The family are very happy that they can have a bath at last after a couple of months of being without one.
