Help selecting the best electric shower

I currently have a Galaxy aqua 1000 electric shower and it is not very good. It has an isolated cold water feed and a separate isolator switch. Is it just a case of simply buying a better electric shower? If so what should I look for? I can spend up to £300

MIRA are the best - in my opinion.
And wont cost anywhere near £300.

I agree Mira are good, but how good your shower will be especially in the cold weather will be down to the element size. 8.5kw will give a meagre spray whereas a 9.5 or 10kw will be better.
Bear in mind though, you cannot simply upgrade the shower power without consulting a qualified electrician first.

Is it just simply a case of fitting a Mira and it will be much better?
Thanks for your response

No - as plumbob says you cannot just change it.
As said previously you need the correct electrical installation, own supply with rcd protection and correct size cable. If your current shower is a 7kw and you buy a 7kw Mira - as long as the current one is correct you shouldn't have a problem.
Also the shower will only be as good as your cold water supply if the flow rate or pressure are poor then the shower will always be poor.
Abit more info on why your current shower is poor - might help.
Doesn't heat or poor flow rate ?
