Hi, is 2068 BTU from a towel radiator in a bathroom, sized 2m x 2m an adequate amount of heat to heat the bathroom?

Thanks

pc6844,
If all walls are internal and no window - yes. Otherwise - no.
If you hope to cover the TR with towels you will get very little heat.

a rule of thumb is:

L x W x H (in feet) x 5.5

this gives an estimated requirement of around 2,100 BTUs so you should be fine with this, provided that your ceilings are no higher than 8ft, which is what i allowed in the calculation. (bear in mind heat rises, so higher ceilings would simply allow all the warm air rise above a useful level).

as i said however the above formula is only a rule of thumb. factors such as double glazing, loft & cavity insulation etc also need to be taken into account. also worth checking to ensure your boiler has the necessary capacity.
