Could someone tell me why water runs into my DHW cold feed tank when my boiler is set to run heating to the storage cylinder for one hour per day
as soon as the boiler fires up at 8am I can hear water running into the tank. I assume it is coming from the vent pipe?

Pump is set too high - if you can trun down the pump.
