Hi can anyone help me please ?

I can get hot water in the bathroom tap's up stairs yet the sink down stairs will only run hot if the upstairs hot tap is open, basically the boiler will fire up when up stairs tap is open but will not fire up when down stairs hot tap is open, Can anyone suggest what this might be please.

boiler type Glow worm compact 80e.

The central heating works fine no problems.
