cistern noise

Over the past few weeks our Fastpart Conceala cistern has developed a loud drumming noise when emptying, when the lever is depressed.
The noise seems to come from inside the white plastic reservoir within the actual cistern : it sounds as though an inner part is rubbing against the side of the reservoir.
I can upload some pictures of the actual cistern, external & internal.
An exploded view showing how the problem is occurring would be helpful.
