Moving header tank

Hi guys and girls,
My flat has a conventional hot water cylinder with immersion heaters, fed from a header tank positioned just above it in the airing cupboard.
I've got a large loft, so was wondering about maybe moving the header tank. I'd be able to place it immediately above where it is now.
I'm thinking of doing this simply so I have a lot more storage space in the airing cupboard. I have a pump on both the hot and cold water, so the pressure is great regardless of how high the header tank is.
I'm a fairly competent plumber, no problem with soldering etc, but have never moved a header tank before.
Anyone got any tips for me? Anything I should be aware of before I start?
Cheers
