Hot Water Problems - Help!

Hi,
Im currently having major problems with a lack of hot water flow to my upstairs shower.
The plumbing is an indirect system.
The hot water feed for the upstairs shower is currently tapped into the vent pipe in the loft, but is below the water line of the cold water tank so there is a supply of water to the shower, I know increasing the height between the tank and the shower will increase pressure however its not practical. Could I use a pump to draw water to the shower rather than rely upon gravity??
Thanks in advance.
Matt

See our choosing a shower project Matt and if its fits the bill, ie both water supplies are tank fed, from large enough tanks, you should be able to fit a pumped shower. Please check with a plumber if you are unsure because pumps use a lot of water and if your tanks fill slower than the pump pulls the water you can cause damage.
